At the young age of 11, Jayde started to help her dad with installing heat runs in houses.  Jayde realized her passion early on and decided to follow her father in his foot-steps.  

 

Jayde completed her Gas III and II Technician February 2018. 

 

In 2018 Jayde was invited by Reliance Home Comfort, to be involved in the Habitat for Humanity Women’s build day.  

 

With a passionate and entrepreneurial spirit Jayde launched North Country Mechanical in February 2019 at the age of 19. 

 

She has become a mentor with Skills Ontario, participating in both the Young Women’s Career Exploration Event and the Young Women’s Conference and continues to be involved in these mentor opportunities. 

 

Jayde was honoured to win the Starter Company Plus Program grant, through the Orangeville & Area Small Business Enterprise Centre in April 2020.
